1970 with the mission of protecting human
health and the environment. “The agency
conducts environmental assessment, research, and education. It has the responsibility of maintaining and enforcing national standards under a variety of environmental laws, in consultation with state, tribal, and local governments.” -Wikipedia
IEPA Logo Rebrand: Because the EPA covers so many different facets of the environment, a logo based on basic idea of a venn diagram shows the union of the different parts of the environment within its protective shield.
